Why Are We Celebrating? Business.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for anyone who came out to the Broad-Minded Comedy show last night and/or asked about it and/or is interested in DC comedy, and comedy in general. really, it means the world to so many hardworking hands on and behind the scenes. the show was sold out, standing room only. it was a very inspiring night. and a great crowd. the all-female show is now going to be a monthly fixture at the venue, so hooray!

in other news, i have hives today. origins unknown. also dry scalp. and self-induced narcolepsy. yesterday, i bought an outfit on the way to the show because i didn't think to pack ahead of time. sometimes i wonder if i could be any more put together? nahhh.

reminder to self: stop starting fights with ghosts.

if ghosts talk shit, then you gotta do what you gotta do...

damn, spooks

NOTE: The use of the word "spooks" in this context is in no way related to the racial slur describing people of color, made popular in the 1960s through the mid-1970's.

NOTE: The use of the phrase "people of color" is in no way and by any means to be considered as derogatory in this context.

NOTE: I'm not sure if I spelled the word "derogatory" correctly.
