My Friend Alice

I just learned some very, very, very heartbreaking and horrible news.

My former classmate, the wonderful, amazing, incredible spirit Alice Swanson (Amherst '07) passed away earlier today in a traffic accident.

I am devastated by the news, and can't understand how the world could lose such a beautiful person.
